QKL Stores Opens Three Stores in China

Daqing, China-based QKL Stores Inc., the leading regional supermarket chain in Northeast China, has announced the opening of three new supermarkets in the fourth quarter of 2009.

The three stores–located in Datong, Heilongjiang; Zhalaiteqi, Inner Mongolia; and Nong’an, Jilin–bring the company’s total supermarket/hypermarket store count to 34, in addition to two department stores.
QKL Stores sell a broad selection of merchandise, including groceries, fresh food and non-food items, through its retail supermarkets, convenience stores and department stores.
